“The Volvo Penta Green Commitment” is a concept that was launched this spring and will be in full swing during the 2008/2009 boat show season.

Environmental care is by no means anything new for Volvo Penta. The environment has long been one of the company’s core values, and Volvo Penta is the leading environmental company in the boat industry. With an ever increasing environmental concern being shown by customers and the general public, Volvo Penta decided to increase their environmental communication. Together with us at Cordovan Marketing they developed the concept “The Volvo Penta Green Commitment”. The concept was launched this spring and will be in full swing during the 2008/2009 boat show season.

The campaign includes a boat show concept with an interactive film module, ads for the boating press, pins, a special section on the Volvo Penta website, and not least by means of internal information: a comprehensive Q&A document, a pocket guide for sales personnel and graphical guidelines.

The results have been very good. Volvo Penta is in the lead and strongly communicates their leading position. The concept has been very well received both internally and among customers and the campaign is used worldwide.
